VirTishear Open Blade Assemblies
Designed primarily for the homogenization of larger, more difficult sample materials, open blade attachments help process samples quickly, easily and thoroughly. All VirTishear, Tempest and Cyclone homogeniziers can accommodate the vast array of unique VirTis open blade processing configurations interchangeably, facilitating sample treatment in volumes of .5 to 750 ml. A self-aligning "quick connect" coupling makes installation and removal from the drive motor without tools easy. Shaft configurations can be disassembled completely and readily for thorough cleaning, and can be sterilized via autoclaving or chemical means.
