From Albany, New Jersey or
Route 17 via New York State Thruway (I 87)
- Take the Garden State Parkway to the New York Thruway
(I 87). You can also take Route 17 to the New York Thruway,
if you prefer.
- Follow the Thruway to Exit 18 (New Paltz / Poughkeepsie).
- Exit the Thruway at Exit 18 and go to first light.
- Turn left onto Route 299 in New Paltz. Go (4) lights.
- Turn left onto Route 208 South. Go approximately (6)
miles and you will come to the intersection of Route 44
/ 55 and Route 208.
- Take Route 208 for approximately (1) mile. VirTis is
on the left just after a small rise in the road.
From Connecticut
- Take Route 84 West to Newburgh.
- Cross the Newburgh Beacon Bridge (no toll) to Exit
7 N (Union Avenue, Route 300 North).
- Take Exit 17 North. Pass the Newburgh Mall. Go (7)
lights.
- Turn left with Route 300 North. Go approximately 5
miles to traffic light.
- Turn right onto Route 208; travel for approximately
(6) miles. VirTis is on the right, use the second driveway.
- If you get to Route 44 / 55, you have gone too far.
Turn around and go back approximately (1) mile. VirTis
will then be on your left just after a small rise in the
road.
From Long Island Expressway
- Take the Long Island Expressway to the TriBoro Bridge
- Take to the Major Deegan Expressway.
- Take to New York State Thruway (I 87) North.
- Follow the Thruway to Exit 18 (New Paltz / Poughkeepsie).
- Exit the Thruway at Exit 18 and go to first light.
- Turn left onto Route 299 in New Paltz. Go (4) lights.
- Turn left onto Route 208 South. Go approximately (6)
miles and you will come to the intersection of Route 44
/ 55 and Route 208.
- Take Route 208 for approximately (1) mile. VirTis is
on the left just after a small rise in the road.
